1) Model Selection
Firstly, please provide us with the following three items of information. Then we will provide you a standard price quotation for the equipment.
1) Type of solvent used.
2) Amount of waste solvent generated per month (kg/day). Units in liters is also acceptable.
3) Operating hours per day (hrs/day)
Point
For general solvents, recovery benefits can often be obtained if the discharge volume is 500 kg/month or more. However, if the unit price of the solvent is high, there is a positive return on investment even if the volume is small.
As a guideline for selecting a model, if the amount is less than 2 ton/month, select the Compact Solvent Recovery Equipment CA-100 Series
For more than 2 ton/month, up to several tens of tons/month, select the Vacuum Distillation Continuous Recovery Equipment CA-800 Series
2) Sample Test
Next, we will conduct a sample test to determine if the customer’s waste solvent is recyclable or reusable. The required sample quantities to be prepared by the customer are as follows:

Hazardous material are not handled nor shipped by Sagawa Express, Yamato Transport, and Seino Transportation. Collection is possible through Niigata Transportation or JP Logistics. If your plant does not have a relationship with a shipping company, liquids can be collected by KOBEX, prepaid. Please feel free to contact us.
3) Report on test results and calculation of cost-effectiveness
After the test, we will submit the distillation data. Since the recovery rate will be identified, we will also calculate the benefits, if necessary. Please share the information on unit consumption.

Recovered solvents are evaluated for reusability on two axis
Quantitative evaluation: Solvent purity is measured by chromatography analysis (fees apply)
Qualitative evaluation: We will return the recycled solvent to the customer. Customers are requested to use the solvent in the cleaning process, etc., and evaluate if there is any difference in solubility, odor, color, etc., compared to new solvent.
If we determine that the recycled solvent can be reused and is cost-effective, we will discuss detailed equipment specifications for the customer’s facility and safety measures to be taken. We will submit a final estimate and specifications for the installation site.
