KOBEX Corporation (Headquarters: Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, Representative Director: Keiichi Matsubara) is pleased to announce the launch of the CA-500 Series, a new dewatering system equipped with its proprietary zeolite membrane technology. This series is currently patent pending (application number: ZPD0998-KBX) and combines energy saving performance of up to 30% compared to conventional products with high-purity and high-efficiency dewatering treatment. We support sustainable process innovation, mainly in the fields of chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and electronic materials.

■Features of Technology (patent pending)
The membranes used in the CA-500 series apply zeolite crystal orientation control technology to demonstrate selectivity with a molecular diameter difference of only 0.1 nm. In particular, the multi-layer structure based on MFI-type crystals allows for the separation of only water molecules in alcohol-based solvents with high efficiency. This has resulted in a significant reduction in renewable energy and a reduction in the size of the equipment at the same time.
Currently, this technology is pending patents in Japan and PCT international patents.
