KOBEX CO., Ltd. joins the “Society of Chemical Engineers SCE・Net”2025/07/03

– Strengthening collaboration with the chemical engineering field to build a sustainable industrial system –

KOBEX Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture; Representative Director: Keiichi Matsubara) joined the Sustainable Chemical Engineering Network (SCE-Net) of the Society of Chemical Engineers, a public interest incorporated association, as a member in July 2025. SCE-Net (Sustainable Chemical Engineering Network) is a platform for industry-academia-government collaboration that addresses carbon neutrality, resource recycling, and energy efficiency improvements from a chemical engineering perspective. Managed by the Society of Chemical Engineers, a public interest incorporated association, SCE-Net brings together companies, universities, and research institutions from Japan and abroad to promote the sharing of technology and knowledge aimed at solving social issues.

[Background to Joining]

KOBEX has developed and provided resource-circulating manufacturing solutions, including industrial solvent recycling equipment. As a company committed to balancing environmental friendliness with economic rationality, strengthening collaboration with the chemical engineering field is crucial for advancing the sophistication of our equipment technology and promoting its practical application in society.

With this membership in SCE-Net, we will actively participate in the following initiatives:

– Participation in technical research and discussions related to the decarbonization of manufacturing processes

– Joint research and knowledge exchange with academia

– Social demonstration and policy proposal activities related to next-generation solvent recycling equipment
